2013 News

This page is being created to keep all our friends and family up-dated on what is going on here at Roseview.

December 8 - We purchased two twelve week old puppies from Jeanne Murawski today.  One is a tri female and the other a blue merle female.  Motown is the sire of these two girls and the mother is a beautiul blue merle (Paris) who is owned by Jeanne.  The female tri puppy we have named Echo - Genies Hello Again Hello and the blue merle puppy we have named Tiffany - Genies Fashion Statement.  Thank you Jeanne for allowing these two girls to join the Roseview Shelties.

September 14 - We attended the AKC Manitowoc Kennel Club, Inc. show in Manitowoc, WI.  AKC/CAN/UKC CH Attridge Motor City - Motown was Select Dog.

September 7 - We attended the AKC Kenosha Kennel Club, Inc. show in Wilmot, WI.  We were thrilled when AKC/CAN/UKC CH Attridge Motor City - Motown  was Best of Breed.

August 24 - We attended the UKC show in Ixonia, WI.  AKC/CAN CH Attridge Motor City - Motown  completed his UKC Championship.  He was Best Male, Best of Breed with a Group 1.  He is now AKC/CAN/UKC CH ATTRIDGE MOTOR CITY.

August 4 - We went to Vicki Weis - Weis Shelties in Minnesota and brought home a 9 week old tri girl.  She is just what we needed here at Roseview and will be a wonderful addition to our dog family.  We want to thank Vicki for allowing this puppy to come to live with us.  We have decided to name the puppy "Hope" and her registered name will be Weiss Wishing and Hoping.

I just want to up-date all of our friends who check this page out and to see what is new here at Roseview that there will not be to many new notices.  Mary is experiencing some health issues which have kept us out of the show ring in the last month.  We also will not be breeding any new litters until her health problems are resolved.  I can assure all of you as soon as she is on the mend we will be out and about again.

April 24 - We had a litter of puppies.  Ellie presented us with 2 tri girls, 1 tri boy and 1 blue merle girl.  This litter proves Motown as he is the sire and this is his first litter.

February 9 - We attended the UKC show in Ixonia, WI.  In the first show Motown - AKC/Can CH Attridge Motor City was Best Male, Best of Breed and had a Group 3 win.  In the second show Lucky - Roseview Lucky Strike was Best Male, Best of Breed and had a Group 2 win.

January 26 - We attended the AKC Park Shore Kennel Club, Inc. show in Grayslake IL.  Wonderful show site and we had a lot of fun with the other sheltie people.  It was a large entry and all in all we were happy with the way our puppies performed.  Roseview Lucky Strike - Lucky and Roseview Jubilee - Jubilee both took second in their classes.  Of course we were thrilled when AKC/CAN CH Attridge Motor City - Motown was Best of Opposite.

January 22 - We had a litter of 3 sable females.  The parents are Juliet - Roseview Words of Love (not pictured on the website) and Zack - Sharokee My Boyfriend's Back.  Dick came home from work and she delivered the first one and we finished about 3 a.m.  There was one 7.2 oz girl, one 5.4 oz girl and one 3.9 oz girl.  Mary has been tubing the smallest girl but she is doing fine.  One always worries about a first time mom, but Juliet is being a great mom and all three girls are thriving.

January 12 - We were at the AKC Winnegamie Dog Club, Inc. show held in Oshkosh.  We had "Lucky" - Roseview Lucky Strike, "Jubilee" - Roseview Jubilee and our new boy "Motown" - AKC/CAN Champion Attridge Motor City at the show.  This was the first time for both Lucky and Jubilee to attend an AKC show.  Jubilee was in the 6-9 month puppy bitch class and she took her class.  The judge wanted to see her do her down and back again, and Jubilee just shut down.  She had enough.  This was okay as she is just a puppy.  This was Lucky's first AKC show and he was in the 9-12 month puppy dog class.  He was Reserve Winners Dog.  This was the first AKC show we showed Motown in and he was Select Winners Dog.  All in all a very good day!

January 1 - We would like to thank all of you who sent us Christmas cards and pictures of puppies that were born here at Roseview.  As you all know we enjoy receiving pictures and hearing from you throughout the year.  Never hesitate to either stop in or give us a call.
